This notice applies to the paid online sessions booked through this site: Mindfulness-Based Guidance, Zen Meditation and Buddhist Wisdom, and English from Within.

The free “Walk Well” zen walk is not a sale and falls outside this notice; how to join and any costs are described on the Walk Well page.

Prices and payment

Mindfulness-Based Guidance (60 min): ¥7,500 (incl. tax)
Zen Meditation and Buddhist Wisdom (60 min): ¥7,500 (incl. tax)
English from Within (50 min): ¥4,500 (incl. tax)
Costs other than the price: None. All sessions are held online via Zoom — no venue fees, temple admission, travel costs or shipping.
Payment method: Credit card, processed by Stripe
When payment is due: At the time of booking. The booking is confirmed once payment completes.

How the service is provided

When the service is provided: At the confirmed date and time, one to one online via Zoom. The join link is sent with the booking confirmation email.
Booking period: Up to 48 hours before the start, and up to 120 days ahead.
What you need: A device with an internet connection (computer, tablet or phone), Zoom (app or browser), and a microphone — sessions are spoken.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation more than 72 hours before the scheduled time is free of charge.

More than 72 hours before: Free
Between 72 and 24 hours before: 30% of the booking amount
Within 24 hours of the start: 100% of the booking amount

The balance after any cancellation fee is returned to your original payment method within a few business days. Transaction fees are borne by us.

Changing the time: please ask at least 72 hours before the start. Up to two changes per booking.

If we cancel: in the event of severe weather or an emergency, we will refund in full or reschedule.
