一mindfulness
Mindfulness-Based Guidance
Mindfulness is not only about becoming calm. It is about learning to see yourself clearly.
Some of what we run into in a life is not solved by trying a little harder.
When you reach a turning point, or find a relationship confusing, or notice yourself caught again in the same feelings and the same turns of thought, what is needed may be to stop and look: what am I going through? What is holding me? And what is it that I actually want?
This course brings together Western mindfulness practice, in-depth dialogue, and what Zen and Buddhist thought have understood by "mind". We begin with noticing the body and the emotions, and move gradually towards understanding your own reactions, beliefs and inner patterns.
It also suits social workers, counsellors and others in the helping professions, as well as those who study or teach mindfulness. If you need to take part in mindfulness training abroad, read English material, or would like to speak more freely in English about your practice and your work, I also teach professional English centred on mindfulness and psychological support — building the vocabulary, the phrasing and the fluency that the work actually asks for.
